Privacy Choices
Use this page to see how you can access, correct, or close your information. Most actions are in the CaringMinds app. You can also email us.
These choices sit with our Privacy Policy. This is the page Apple’s Privacy Choices field can point to.
Request my data
Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you or your child. Email info@caringminds.ng with the account email and what you need.
Correct my information
You can update your name, photo, phone, and username in the app under Profile. To correct something you cannot change there, email info@caringminds.ng.
Withdraw consent
You can review consents in the app under Profile → Privacy & consents. To withdraw child-data or other consent, email info@caringminds.ng. If we rely on that consent to deliver care, we may then be unable to keep supporting that child.
Delete child
In the app, open the child’s profile, choose Delete, and type their first name to confirm. That closes the profile and removes identifying details. Care history may be kept for a defined period, as explained in the Privacy Policy. This cannot be undone in the app.
Delete account
You can permanently delete your CaringMinds account directly in the app by going to Profile → Delete account and typing DELETE to confirm.
If you no longer have access to the CaringMinds app, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing info@caringminds.ng. Please include the email address associated with your CaringMinds account and clearly state that you want your account and associated personal data deleted.
When your deletion request is processed, your account and associated personal data will be deleted.
This may include:
- Account and profile information
- Contact information
- Child profiles and associated personal information
- Care and developmental information
- Messages and communications
- Uploaded files and media associated with the account
- Other personal information associated with your account
Certain information, including care records, payment records, or other information, may be retained for a defined period where required for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate record-keeping purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
